Close to harvest, the fruit is checked on a weekly basis to ensure the ideal balance of fruit flavour to tannin structure. Individual patches of select outstanding fruit are hand-picked for these Reserve wines.
Typically both the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are sourced from vineyards in the Wilyabrup sub-region. The hallmark attributes are medium to long term cellaring potential and expressive varietal fruit. These outstanding wines are naturally limited in release.
